I’m thankful for every rejection
Every “no” cleared the path to the right “yes.” I’m going to make this announcement brief, so no need for a TL,DR.
On August 25, 2020, I’ll be starting as an Associate Community Marketing Manager at Armory. I’ll be working with the Spinnaker community and it’s going to be awesome!

The highlights:
I’ll be making six-figures (OMG!!!)
It’s not a developer role and I’m super excited about that. I’ll still be coding for fun and side projects. #100DaysOfCode is still in effect.
I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot with team and company culture. I am stepping into this role as myself. I feel seen and appreciated already. Roz, you’re the best ❤️
This is the kind of role I was asking for at the beginning of the job search. I gave up on it in the middle to seek support roles and somehow I still found myself here.
There’s a whole lot more to say but I’m keeping this message brief. Hopefully, I will get around to doing a more in-depth retrospective.
If you’re reading this now, there’s a good chance that you supported me or encouraged me in some way during my job search. Thank you so much 😭
I don’t think it has actually hit me, it still feels unreal. But...
We did it. I earned this. My life is about to change, friends.
This is an important event in my founder’s story. I can’t wait to see what it’s like to work on PopSchools from a place of abundance and security. Subscribe to stay in the loop 😃
Thanks for being on this journey with me.
Nikema ❤️
Congrats!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
